| Jokioinen Wire mill dates back to 1804, when the plant has started production of nails. Kaarjoki Ltd. bought the factory 1.9.2006 and will continue factory's proud traditions. The factory produces wire and a net using wire rod as the raw material. Using our versatile machines and your product development we can respond to meet our customers' most demanding needs.
Industrial wire
The wires manufacturing is done by cold-drawing. As a raw material is used hot-rolled low-carbon wire. When pulling wire reinforced, its toughness is reduced and the thread is getting tougher. The surface quality and dimensional accuracy will improve significantly by using this method. Wire can also be annealed to soften.
